Former Happy Unfortunate rapper Malcolm-Jay paves way for his first solo tape with the self-reflective Always Know. Feel-good party scenes contrast the video's solo shots of Malcolm as the song's upbeat melody contrasts its' intense, existential lyrics. Director Denis Ankrah dips his filmographic toes once again into the pool of rap visuals after a hiatus from music videos. If the rest of his tape is anything like Always Know, look out for a mix of introspective joints ranging in emotion. Malcolm-Jay's unnamed project is tentatively set for a Spring 2016 release.
